For quite a while now we have read books of the Bible one chapter at a time as led by YHWH. We have a bowl that we have placed cards in and each card has the name of one book and Faith draws out a card as YHWH guides her hand during prayer. We pray together and ask YHWH to lead and guide us in all our studies to teach us what we need to know so that we can live better for Him. We place our faith in him that He will teach us what we need to know, when we need to hear it. We also pray that He will lead those to join us, or leave us as He directs...praying also that He brings those who have a heart focused on Him and withdraw those who have turned from Him or may be a distraction to our walk with Him. Those prayers have lead to some wonderful leadings, and some unexpected results as He has drawn some away...but all to the glory of our Father in Heaven.
Today, it occured to us that the notes and studies from those readings could also be posted here. As you read our notes though, know that we are not here as teachers, we are here as students learning. We do not have all the answers, but we have lots of questions and a desire to learn, and through that desire the Father teaches us, in His way, in His time.
Some of these postings will reveal insight, some just more questions. One thing we have found is through the study of His word, He directs and when we pray on questions, He leads us through the word to the answers...in His time.
The newest book that He has choosen for us is Ezekiel...we have many questions about the symbols used so if you have any insight please add your comments.
YHWH please be with us on these studies, lead us and guide us and teach us. Direct us on Your path as Your little sheep and know that we love You and desire to learn Your ways so that we can show You our love through our obedience to Your desires for us.
