A Little Truth, a Little Lie...YaHwilling

Too many times we are deceived to believe something that isn't true, sometimes out of habit, sometimes because we 'trust' the person who said it to us. Yet we are to prove all things, and as careful as we might be, we must still pray always to be enlightened and have wisdom and understanding and correction and protection from evil.

Today's Lesson...
YaHwilling is not a Yes or No.

For the last couple years I have assumed to be true a teaching to answer YaHwilling...I held the belief of giving a yes or no, but did agree with following up with the YaHwilling. But the one teaching this refused to give a yes or no but to leave everything open, no plans, no dedication to anything...just always YaHwilling, sometimes spoken as a YaHwilling somethings as a maybe. The person that was teaching this responded to me lately...isn't a maybe better than a no?

I thought on that statement and the answer was no. Maybe, was not better than a no. Because of the "maybe's" some of us didn't make it to feasts over these last couple years...waiting and hoping on that maybe, that same maybe that was often hidden as YaHwilling, but always resulted as a no. Of course the Father wants His children to attend the feasts...so how is the answer YaHwilling serving the desire of YHWH? Others were unable to fix an assortment of plans for the same hope on a maybe, and opportunity's passed them by. And now I was being told that same maybe when I called for help...that same maybe hidden in a YaHwilling, that historically just meant "no, I don't want to, but don't want to tell you that".

Sometimes it takes rocking the boat to realize the boat has a weak spot...and sometimes a little hurt gets us to open the Bible and research something that we thought we knew. So as I thought on the answer to the question..."isn't a maybe better than a no?", I prayed to YHWH to show me where is His path through this?

What does the Bible say about using the answer, maybe?

Doing a word search on e-sword the answer is...the Bible doesn't use the word maybe...ever!

It does tell us though that we are to answer with a yes or a no...any other answer is evil!

Mat 5:37 But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.

Jas 5:12 But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.

If you feel the answer is no then stand up and answer no and stop hiding behind this "YaHwilling" answer. What is this maybe or YaHwilling, of course it is YaHwilling. We know that all is to the glory of the Father in Heaven and nothing happens that He doesn't allow. But if a person asks for help and you answer maybe - or YaHwilling, but you do not go, and YHWH sends someone else...then it is clear the answer was, Yes, YHWH was willing...but you were not.

When a brother or sister makes that call for help and we are able to help, should we answer with a maybe? Should we not be wise enough to know that we are called here to help each other? Through the years of studying with this person I seen and heard him justify several times how he felt it was wrong to help brethren through turmoils because it could be a reproof and he didn't want to get in the way of a reproof. But now YHWH was reproofing me...for not seeing the wrong in this, and teaching me that we are to help those in need without judgement. We are to be a light and shine the love of YHWH.

Mat 5:15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

YHWH calls us to help each other and says that when we help each other we are doing it unto Him. our most gracious Father in Heaven answered our need for help and spoke to a brethren with better hearing and sent him to our aid, a person I had not even asked for help. YHWH rerouted this person and his wife and delivered them unexpectedly at the exact time of need, (day and hour), and even had dinner with them! Which if you understand a gluten free and clean foods diet you have an even better understanding of this miracle.

Luk 12:24 Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and YHWH feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?

Sometimes YHWH makes my hair stand on end when I see just how compassionate He is.

Mat 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

Joh 10:4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.

Joh 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

Mat 25:42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
Mat 25:43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
Mat 25:44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Our master, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
Mat 25:45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
Mat 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Where did YaHwilling come from?

Like the deceiver does so often, he twisted a verse, a little truth, a little lie. One that many of us are familiar enough with that when it was quoted we recognize it but do not recognize the subtle changes made to change its meaning. The following is what the Word says...

Jas 4:14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
Jas 4:15 For that ye ought to say, If YHWH will, we shall live, and do this, or that.

If YHWH will, we shall live, and plan to do this or plan to do that. We are to make plans, people are to be able to depend on us. This verse says, if YHWH doesn't take my life before then, I will be here or there. So it isn't so much of a, is YHWH willing to make this decision for me and write it on the wall for me to see, as it has been taught lately. As if He needs to decide if we should help or attend or what not...we are to know YHWH and should know that answer by knowing His Words, and His desires. The YHWH willing in context, actually means if YHWH will allow me to live...I plan to do this or that.

But what does the Bible say about those who avoid the "YaHwilling" and the "maybe" by saying they will pray on it...but then they never give any answer at all?

First off if we know the Father in Heaven we know that deception doesn't come from Him. The Bible also says to be ready, to know the word and be able to give an answer.

1Pe 3:15 But set apart YHWH Elohim in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

If you do not know if something would be YHWH's calling, then you better stop what you are doing and start praying for direction and wisdom and make sure you are reading His word daily. We should all know the difference between good and evil. Sure some times will require prayer and study of the Word first if it is something we haven't learned yet...but do we really need to pray on every request if a brother or sister needs our help? Should our christian neighbors be more dependable in times of need than our own brothers and sisters? What does that say about our family?

* Abram helped Lot even when Lot had chosen the better ground and in a wicked city. Abram risked his life to help Lot. Did Abram first question or judge whether he should help or judge to let Lot suffer? No! He assembled an army from his own house and came to rescue him. Gen Chapters 13 and 14

* What does the Messiah teach us in Luke Chapter 10:25-37? Have we become so afraid to get our hands dirty that we have forgotten how to have compassion?

* Job suffered and his friends mocked him. What does that say about the hearts of those who were supposed to be his friends. What about the hearts of those brothers or sisters who did not help when we humbly asked for help?

And if you feel the thing that is needed to help is too valuable, I wonder if it should be that way? It seems more likely that it is a test YHWH placed as nothing that we have should be valued above another believer...

Act 2:44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
Act 2:45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.

I have yet to see in the Bible where it was a will of YHWH to NOT help each other.

We should know how to tell the difference between good and evil, but if you can not tell yet, pray on whether or not the answer is to be yes or no, pray to get wisdom, but then answer the person, and pray that if you were wrong that the Father in Heaven correct you. It is better to be wrong and corrected than to be wrong and have no reproof.

Pro 3:11 My son, despise not the chastening of YHWH; neither be weary of his correction:
Pro 3:12 For whom YHWH loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.
Pro 3:13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.
Pro 3:14 For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.
Pro 3:15 She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.

But really, does the Bible ever say that we will get a reproof because we stopped to help a brother or sister, a widow or a fatherless child in need?

One last thought on this YaHwilling and maybe answer...

Rev 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.

Giving a maybe is neither hot or cold it is a lukewarm answer...and YHWH will spue thee out of the mouth.

Rev 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

These following verses are just so good I couldn't help but include them...we are all wretched and poor. HalleluYaH for those who are able to see it and call on others for help and those who come in times of need. How terribly sad it is for those who have been given the means to help but put themselves in the seat of judgement and determine a brother or sister should suffer without.

Rev 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
Rev 3:18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
Rev 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
Rev 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
Rev 3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
Rev 3:22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the assemblies.

Isa 58:7 Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?
Isa 58:8 Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of YHWH shall be thy rereward.
Isa 58:9 Then shalt thou call, and YHWH shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;
