Calendar - The first Month and the Feasts in Season

Is January the first month? or spring? or green ears, Aviv?

Setting the tradition of man (Mark 7:13) aside lets use verses from the Bible to determine YHWH's calendar.

Gen 1:14 And Elohim said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

The lights that YHWH put in the sky are to determine day from night, and to tell us what day it is, what year it is, what season it is, and also for signs.

Gen 1:5 And Elohim called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

He then also defined that the sun rules the light period that is to be called day.

Gen 1:16 And
Elohim made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

And we know that the work of
YHWH (Father of Lights), is done in the day, first through example in Gen. when all YHWH's work was done between morning and evening, and then also here.

Joh 9:4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

The year begins in spring, using the first new moon after the equilux. (The equilux is the day of equal light). When the first month follows the equilux then green ears will be seen which is called the month of Aviv (green ears), and the barley will be ready on time.

Passover to Pentacost, fall during the period of the year with more sunlight than night. They are the period of time of work...just as YHWH worked during the day as shown in each day in Gen.. But the Feast of Trumpets to the Last Great Day falls when the growing season is done...at the turning back or revolution of the sun...when the day starts to be shorter than the night, when the period of work is done, that period in John 9:4. When YHWH brings in His harvest.

To start the first month early, before the equilux (equal period of light and darkness), when it is still in a period of longer darkness and shorter light is not right with the order YHWH as already shown...and there is no verse to support starting it while the days are still short and in the period of longer darkness...night. Starting the year early also puts the FoT in summer rather than in its correct season of Fall, (after the equinox). Some look for the barley to turn green to start their year, but that goes against Gen. 1:14 and YHWH is not the author of confusion..

Everything in its season.
